Berlin based DJ and producer “The Sixth Sense“ gets his influences from early 00’s hard and hardgroove Techno. His tracks filled with groove and fat basslines. Being very productive he already self-released several Tracks and appeared on other Labels, with more to come. Significance of his music is further exploration of our perception and finding answers for all the secrecies.

Sacha Treasure aka Mikrotakt is a producer/DJ and resident of Tbilisi based DifferentSound Records.

A London native who grew up in the deep forest of Sweden - This raw groove dealer has already released on the likes of Cantical Records, Catalog 01366, Trau-ma and the aforementioned DifferentSound. With more big releases planned for the rest of the year, there's no sign of slowing down.

From the age of 14 Sacha has been learning his way around DAWs and electronic music, experimenting with old school hip hop. Coming from a very musical background his family encouraged creativity - Learning many instruments throughout his childhood from violin to piano.

Sacha later fell in love with the underground rave scene and the sound of Techno. Since then he has gotten involved where he can and developed his sound.

Mikrotakt can be identified as raw, percussive and groovy. His hybrid sets deliver pounding rhythms full of energy.

22 year old Sam Jeffery is an artist whose focus is on what’s real in techno. Sci-fi synths and highly focused drums. Inspired by his idols on techno such as DVS1 but with roots in Chicago house. The only way to describe Sam’s taste would be “real”.

An hour of wild synths, ethereal bleeps and distant textures enjoy this display of taste and mixing skills.

Super excited to release this mix from @chami An artist who firmly steps away from the superficial exterior surface of the current “underground” techno scene. Focusing on the pure art form itself he has gained the trust of masters such as Freddy K, evident during their spontaneous intimate after hours b2b at Suicide Club of recent times.

During this mix expect him to transmit light via ethereal vibrations. It’s refreshing to see an artist who truly believes in the pure techno sound.

The rhythm, the groove and faith in simplicity. All of them are hallmarks of Skudge. Started as a duo in 2009, the project is now a solo effort (with live performance help from another individual).
The Skudge universe has come a long way from the anonymous and humble beginnings to world-wide recognition through the labels Skudge Records, Skudge Presents and Skudge White.

Right from the start, the main output has been on Skudge’s own label. This resulted in a Berghain live set right after the first release of Skudge Records.

The fine sense of loops, detail and taste have reached people for almost a decade. Be it through their EP’s or albums, hardware focused live sets, one thing remains, which is that the Skudge artistry and label are here to stay.

There’s many legendary dance floors in the world. Some we have managed to dance on ourselves. Our next guest Wes Baggaley has pretty much played on them all. From the legendary NYC Downlow at Glastonbury, to the Panorama Bar. More recently the mighty Bassiani and FOLD’s infamous Sunday party ‘Unfold’ and let’s not forget EVERYBODY’S favourite that is the Meat Free dance floor. 

Wes’ knowledge of dance music is one of the best in the game, bending through different genres such as house, techno, electro and breakbeat gear, whilst keeping the party people in a trip at all times.

We are pleased to give you a special techno infused mix from the man himself.

Next up we have Fhase 87 with a 42 track medley of rough and tribal selections.

With over 20 years of experience behind the decks the French born Dj and producer has gained the support of many stalwarts of the scene such as Laurent Garnier, Perc, Dave Clarke, Sims and Cleric to name a few.

With a style that oscillates between Detroit Techno and Chicago Techno, his quality selections and energetic mixing style enliven his audience and keep them on their toes.

2021 marked the year he launched two labels “Lemegeton” a series of 18 vinyl releases and “French Loops” a mixture of raw techno/ tribal tracks. 2022 also saw the launch of his third label “Architecte” a project combining music and photography, each cover being a photo of architecture taken in his hometown, Calais.

A lot of output from this artist that shows no sign of slowing down.

Since Roseen was infected by electronic music in the early nineties, he has been heavily influenced by American techno from Detroit. The coordinates Berlin, New York, Birmingham and Brighton also play a significant role. All these influences are incorporated into his productions and DJ sets.
      
As producer, DJ, label co-owner and second half of the duo Ausgang, Roseen is largely unnoticed and active in obscurity. His releases are straightforward, raw and pushing. In his understanding, Techno must have a pure character. A naivety is inherent in the music; vibrancy arises from spontaneous and sketchy moments. This spirit is often tried to be imitated or copied, but rarely achieved. For Roseen, that is the challenge of making music but by listening closely, you can hear this in both his productions and DJ sets.

UK based Dj/Producer Anthony Tring delivers an hour long mix of driving rhythms and pulsating sounds that develop into a barrage of frequencies.

With releases on AWRY, Ear To Ground, Selected Records, BAHN & more; Anthony has a taste for the deeper, more intricate sound of techno. Which is displayed in the latest edition of the Kwassa Files podcast series.

Hyperactive when it comes to crate digging, it’s difficult to attach a style to the artist.
His flexibility behind the decks has comfortably placed him on a variety of line ups in the north west, whether it’s the 10pm ambient hour, or the 6am sweat box, his record bag will answer the call..

Aprils own party Chorus has provided the scene in Leeds with an electic offering of parties in recent years and after recently moving to Manchester he has appeared on stellar line ups for everyones favourite parties Meat Free and Tiriba.

We've following him for a few years now, particularly impressed by his releases on MORD and SYMBOLISM, so having him on the series is a real pleasure.

Next, we welcome Thanos Hana, the mastermind behind the esteemed record label TH ± Tar Hallow, established in 2015. Renowned for his heavy, acidic productions, his music is featured on TH±Tar Hallow, Planet Rhythm Records, and Mord Records. Thanos Hana's DJ sets and hardware-based live performances are custom-made for dark spaces, sparking an immediate response from the dance floor, as demonstrated in this mix.

As an interdisciplinary artist, she blends mixing, music production, illustration, and activism to forge new paths within the electronic music communities of Colombia and Latin America. Alongside her role as an artist on Medellín’s Insurgentes label, she co-founded ECO and Latitudes, two platforms that spotlight the creative and political work of Latin American electronic music scenes, with a strong feminist focus.

Her DJ mixes are known for their narrative depth, as exemplified in this mix, where she skillfully navigates diverse genres, taking bold risks while maintaining a sharp ear for high-quality sound.
