If when you hear "Old Head" you imagine a early 90's rapper dissing the now generation and boasting the Golden era greatness, think again. Morekwellz is a progressive risk taking beatmaker and lyricist and his music is always attempting to differentiate from today's hip hop norms. When asked why he is so anti main stream, Morekwellz says “when I was coming up you couldn't bite and that always stayed with me.” Morekwellz belief is "while they getting,"turnt up" and wildin out I'd rather give you something to think about", and with untraditional boom-bap beats and monotone word play lyrics he can add-on to the hip hop culture. He has been rapping since the early 90's when he was writing rhymes in highschool and beat making with a Gemini mixer. In the early 2000's he produced a public access Tv show called "Blowing up the spot", for local buffalo ny artist, performed at a few open mics and started making beats on an ensoniq eps and mpc 2000. Presently, Kwellz is looking to bang out more boom bapish material for the hip hop purists that he believes still exist .
