Premiere of Arthur Keegan-Bole's 'Diminuendi: Etude, Prelude and Response'.

This is a piece for soprano and alto saxophone, with MaxMSP settings triggered by MIDI pedal. There are deliberately bits missing from this recording--we're going to record it in the studio later this summer. Watch this space!

Diminuendi: Etude, Prelude & Response

Katherine Williams is a saxophonist and musicologist based in the South-West of England. She is active in the idioms of classical, jazz and new music, and is particularly interested in the connection between composition and improvisation. 

She regularly works with contemporary composers to address these issues, and is open to any combination of acoustic, live electronic processing, and electroacoustic composition.
