Krachkonvolut - Ritual (Kai Pattenberg Remix)

För andra året i rad - och precis som ifjol - fick jag äran att riva av min älskade mangeltechno på JEF (Jenchella Electronic Festival) på Svedboäng i Västerfärnebo.

Ifjol var det deras debut som arrangörer och i år slog de på ännu mer tillsammans med Smedjan Event, som utan tvivel har ett av Sveriges fetaste ljudsystem, DJ-utrustning samt lasershow!
Festivalen ägde rum den 18:e & 19:e augusti.

Jag riktar ett stort tack till JEF Crew, Smedjan och alla underbara ravers som kom och dansade. Det var riktigt kul att få träffa en del DJ-ansikten, både nya och gamla.
Tyvärr fick jag lämna redan första kvällen då det vankades en ny spelning dagen därpå, så jag missade en hel del. Men med den linan av DJs som JEF dragit ihop, så kan det inte bli annat än succé. 

Det här konceptet har arrangörerna lyckats med otroligt bra och jag hoppas innerligt att det blir ett återseende nästa år.
På dagtid hade man en Open Air Mainstage och framåt kvällen blåstes det på ännu mer i 200 kvm inne. 
Lägg till detta en läcker chillout-hörna, en cafeteria och ett campingområde, där man både kunde tälta eller ta med husbilen/husvagnen.

Decon stod Hexamaniacs för, som var lika imponerande som allt det övriga.

Personligen behövde jag den här avrundningen för sommaren 2023, då jag var inne på min fjärde och sista semestervecka. En semester som merpart regnat bort och går till minnet som en av de sämre. Bra musik och härligt umgänge rådde bot på mycket av den lilla bitterheten som gnydde inom mig.

Det här settet dånar på i 155 BPM och jag försöker få till ett avslut med mycket distorsion.
Värt att nämna i låtvalet är vår unga svenska Hard Techno-stolthet yohan.aif. Hans "Brutality 101" är en riktigt banger som håller högsta internationella klass! Keep it the good work!

Mr Vémyr has his roots in the Swedish capitol Stockholm, where he now lives and loves to spend time with his kid. Three years into the new decade Andy discovered, as a 17 year old teenager, the Hardcore and Gabber scene - something that inspired him to become a DJ himself. The nowadays classic Thunderdome-records was played over and over again, with artists like DJ Promo, Three Steps Ahead and Neophyte being some of his big role models.

It didn´t take long before Andy started playing as a DJ at underground parties in the Stockholm area. As he wanted to explore more of the electronic dance stage, Andy went nuts a few years later for psychedelic trance, and he began arranging his own rave parties in the Swedish forest and industrial premises. He gladly played together with his childhood friend Daniel Deer, who has figured in Swedish Rave Societys Episode II.

Andy is a real DJ talent and as the years went by he “sadlade om”, as we say in Sweden. It means he changed his style completely and started playing techno at some of Stockholms inner city clubs and outdoor parties. He loved this genre, but he really fell in love when he discovered drum´n´bass and dubstep. Now he fell complete inside, and this is the music Andy has been playing around Sweden for the last ten years!

Andy likes to give you a set that is hard and still melodic and we can guarantee that you won´t leave the dancefloor dissatisfied!
He is a official label DJ @ Diss Master Records (JPN).

This mix is 70 minutes long, a little bit longer than we wanted. We gave Andy a warning and it won´t happen again! #lol

Episode IV: Andy Vemyr

"Håll i hatten, Ronny is here"

In Sweden we say "håll i hatten", which freely are translated to "hold the hat". It means more that you should prepare yourself for what is to come.
Ronny means that you should prepare yourself for one hour of dark techno madness!

Ronny was born in the late 70´s in the Swedish capitol Stockholm, where he still lives today.
His true passion for music is techno, techno and techno. The darker, the better are his own words.
He has been a part of the underground rave scene for over 20 years now and has worked as a DJ and producer since year 2014, when he got his first EP “Techno Soldier” released.
Ronny plays a bit darker techno that is full of bass and dark underground atmospheric sounds. He always tries to bring that underground feeling with him when he is playing out.
In year 2015 Ronny was nominated for “Best New Underground Male DJ of The Year” at the Elly Awards.

As a producer and remixer Ronny currently is signed for Finder Records (Ukraine), Dreizehn Schallplatten (Germany) and Oxytech Records (Ukraine).
Ronny has also previously been active as a Podcast Network Manager at Materia Nigra (Portugal).
Many of his songs get ranked high at Beatports chart and are well supported by other DJs.

Actually, we owe a big thanks to Ronnys neighbour for playing electronic music loudly in his apartment when he was around 15 years old. This got Ronnys interest and soon he attended his first rave.
In Sweden Docklands, which lies south of Stockholm, is a legendary nightclub for rave music, and it was active between year 1995-2002. Ronny was a regular visitor and considered Docklands as his second home for some time! 
Big inspirations in Ronnys musical career has been Swedish techno producer Cari Lekebusch and German techno maestro Andreas Kraemer, just to name a few. In later years Kai Pattenberg has had a big influence in Ronnys musicmaking of the darker techno.

KETTiL is what you can call a multitasking man. He is a goddamn good DJ and additionally what he calls a ´producer extraordinaire´. For example, in this mix you will hear his own produced track “Ortni Tes”. A real banger!
Besides this, he also has an aggrotech project called Kill The Sleeper.

KETTiL – whose real name is…wait for it...Kettil - was raised during the 90´s with the acid rave scene as a big inspiration.
He started DJ´ing at various synth and goth clubs – like Tech Noir - way back in 2007/2008 and did so for a couple of years. He played lots of aggrotech, EBM and future pop, but he could also add a twist of acid and tech trance in his sets. From 2011 he kept a pretty low profile and took some gigs more sporadically. 

The aggrotech project Kill The Sleeper is more a mix of 90s trance and Gothenburg sound bands, like In Flames and Soilwork. It's extremely niche, but for Kettil more of a relaxed outlet for the things he likes the most: dance music and raw freaking screaming. Call it harsh electrocore from Sweden!

By the end of 2019, it marked the year when KETTiL decided to make a 100 % committed return as a DJ. In a short time, he has made a strong name of himself and has already had the honour of playing both within and abroad of Sweden, at events like Vancouver Fetish Weekend, Bronx Sauna, TyLandia and Technohearts.

He wants to express how hard, melodic, driven and at the same time emotionally arousing techno music can be. You really can hear this and feel the energy in his sets.
KETTiL mainly likes to play his beloved hard-banging techno, but he is also known for pulling away a nice house set, with lots of bongo drums and latino vibes.
