Track of the Week – Week 2

A chilled, lo-fi R&B tune with a touch of emotional blues. This track challenged me creatively — lo-fi isn’t usually my natural zone, but I’ve been feeling it lately and decided to dive in.

I created the core instrumental using Soundful (G Major, Lo-Fi Ethereal preset), then chopped and arranged the track using Co-Producer to source the right samples. From there, it was about removing the noise, cleaning up stems, and keeping it simple but real. Final polish was done with BandLab mastering.

The bell in the intro gave it a “Hell’s Bells” kind of surprise — one of those happy accidents only AI could’ve given me. Vocals shift midway, giving the track a dual perspective of letting go.

This one is about keeping things minimal, staying in the pocket, and letting the groove speak for itself.
Lo-fi, sad, soulful.
