How old are you? I am 24, old man! Lol

The idea behind the name?

Well, the Idea behind Kydd Beatz was a name change process were i thought what would sound cool and me. i thought well im still a young kid and beatz was all was my ending name, so i put the two together it only made sense.HA! Lol!

The Custom AVI?

My custom AVI was a dope concept i made recently, it speaks to the Fan or Artist looking to listen, because its original, fresh, and imaginative. That cover art alone will sell my new beat album coming soon. Like i said before the name Kydd bounced the Super Mario right into the picture, Why? As an 80's baby that was are # 1 video game growing up its a must!!

When did I start Making Beats?

Well, it was in 2008 and my God brother Troy Scott aka Concept from the 803, #EKE was working on his studio and he did a track to Vybe Beatz (Big Fan of this Guy) Dreams, and when i heard it i was like how in the **** did he make that. The clarity of the song was so amazing that i had my laptop and i downloaded the demo version of FL studio and the Beat making life begin.

Behind the Music?

 I listen to a lot of music and watch some beat making videos by my favorite producers just to get ideas going! originality is better than copying someone else 's melodies tho. I usually start with the instruments then throw in the bass, claps, kicks, and hi-hats. after that i build the intro, chorus, and verses, normally a 8 bar pattern. The ending result is an amazing 5 min long song. long enough to give the artist Ideas to play with the instrumental. oh yeah Learn how to play the piano!!!!

What DAW i use?

FL Studio 10.9....no surprise right. Accordingly to a website FL Studio is not a top picked DAW. well that just ridiculous because, even the best Major producers use FL studio. its the best and I highly recommend for a start and finisher.

What Vst's do you have?

Goodies! like Nexus, Massive, Sylenth 1, Gladiator, Firebird, and countless Fl stock plugins.

What Drumkits and expansions do you have? Every Last One! Muahahah!
