We Fight As One

An ambient synth track with a sci-fi or cyberpunk feeling. I was aiming for that feeling I remember when scanning planets while playing Mass Effect.

This one's inspiration comes by way of Yasunori Mitsuda's amazing soundtrack to Chrono Trigger. Fans of Mitsuda will particularly see this in the second half of this loopable background track.

Mystery

A driving piano theme in 6/8 time. Dark and powerful, with a brief hopeful respite in the middle, before the destruction of that hope on the themes which were its forebears.

The vast, open plain. A sense of peace, but also a faint unease. Does a predator lurk in the dark, or is it just a human sense of insignificance as we gaze up at the heavens above?

Quite possibly my weirdest composition so far. Created with four chords, but not the four you're thinking of. Evokes old-school SNES boss battles and endgame levels. Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder.

No instruments, real or sampled, were harmed in the creation of this track.

Distant drums, splashy cymbals, triumphant horns--all the cliches. Existing somewhere on the spectrum between "ambience" and "music".
