Session #329: Raw Guitar Practice Journey - 28 Tracks of Honest Musical Growth

Could you believe I'm 2 years late to rendering this one? Back in 2023 ... crazy ! Here I am in 2025! 
This Session leads to the final track of a 3 arrangement multitrack of my song from 2022 - Three Dimensional
I recorded this a year and a few months after album version.

This session I had fun with Vibrato guitar. I used my SongVisualizer for the assistance.

Session #331 from June 2023 - throwback to the early days of my SongVisualizer project! A heavy Thin Lizzy night with some classic Allman Brothers and Freddie King thrown in.
Kicked off with some southern rock vibes before diving into BOC's Don't Fear The Reaper and spending quality time with Freddie King's Hide Away. The second half was all about those legendary Thin Lizzy twin guitar harmonies - multiple attempts at nailing Cowboy Song on both lead and rhythm included!

Session #331 - June 2023

In this session on a whim I retuned from E Flat to E Standard. So by the end I was worn down from
Purple Haze notation hehe. But I think I nailed “All Right Now” by Free prior to this. I’m not sure
This session is as strong as last session, unless you count my “Don’t Fear The Reaper” play through.
I was not expecting to nail that Blue Oyster Cult classic on my first rehearsal in a long time. Oh well,
Just hard to find a song to play on a whim like this hehe. My vocal commentary provided narration 
Along the way. If I decide to purchase more plugins we will see. In this session also I didn’t exactly set the bends 100%. When I returned from E Flat to E Standard I didn’t spend too much time to set the bends. So at first intonation was off slightly until I returned a little bit during the session.

Also worth noting that I primarily stuck with one tone: Raw Distortion Pedal, for the sake of not wanting
To experience digital clipping when it comes to other amps like the Marshal/Fender/Friedman. I have yet
To find a tone with those branded amps that won’t digitally clip on soundcloud listening. Which is funny
Because if it clips on SoundCloud it won’t clip on listening to the file offline or on Apple Music.

The good news is that I’m talking more and more WHILE playing. Which is a skill. To be able to have 
Two trains of thought. One on the mouth and one on the fingers! Quite a skill if you ask me. To concentrate
On two tasks at once. You try it sometime, play the guitar and speak at the time. Have two trains of thought.
It’s certainly not easy. Requires precision. Especially if you want to sound good while doing it which is the whole goal lol. 

Oh also Whipping Post was fun. Also I forgot that I had the tune knob on guitar turned down until near the end haha.

This "song" is a horrible mess and I love it.
It's a combination of three songs: New Friend, Jet Engine, Whatever else I don't even know at this point.

I had these songs dated and time stamped. So I know
which they are on my local drive. However, for you the person
the listner. All you hear is a jumbled mess.


Well, that's because you're listeing on mono. This is designed
for: Left, Center, Right. 

At-least, my attempt. As I am aware of the current arrangement
is a mess. Hence the song title. But, do you understand
how much work is required for a three guitar track? two 
guitar track?

Each arrangement must speak to one another. Each 
note must be transcribed and 100% playable. This notation
is just a playthrough to see the current feel.

As I made some adjustments. I need to play to make some more.
Now that I've played I see where I can adjust.
Places that have too fast transition. Notes that
don't make sense. Notes I can't hit.

Now I can adjust for next time!

Oh yeah it's also dumb there's a possible humming sound chance
based on if I have my tablet[recording device] socketed to power. Kinda dumb and easy to forget such as the first 2 or 3
tracks until remember. UGGHSFHASHAHDF
