This album art: The journey of recording every track within a day. 15 minutes, 3 arrangements, 4 recordings of different tones. Every mistake include. A song I wrote back around May-June 2014. I wrote Guitar Pro notation from Transcription. I learned all about how music writing works. 

I tried to cram everything I knew, based on all original notation that I could come up with to summarize my point in the Guitar journey. such as the intro (and outro) being inspired by Allman Brothers Band - Blue Sky, following a riff inspired by one of Jack White that I learned about two years prior to writing this. ("Cold and Calculated" is a nother Guitar Pro file spinoff I have of that notation)..

I actually recorded this in E Flat rather than E Standard as I originally wrote it. I did not feel like re-tuning the Evertune Bridge(s). So the Left, Center Guitar is Fender Telecaster whereas the Right Guitar is Gibson SG.

This is Draft 37 of the song as in that's exactly what It means. I have Guitar Pro and various Rocksmith DLC files of various Drafts from 1-37. I also have previous recordings from around that time.

So this version in 2021 here is a single of one sitting session trying to cover it all, without rehearsing. That's why mistakes are included. Looking back, I could easily regret the album art, however, at the time it felt justified. Think of the task I had: recording 3 hours of guitar in a single day.

That explains my facial expressions in this album art. I had to record 3 hours of guitar in a single day. So my faces were an expression of that. Slowly starting as happy, descending into "what have i gotten myself into" and following by "well, ok, i'll roll with it. Ahh!"

That's my explanation for the album artwork. Take it or leave it.

Track 8 (JerryC - Canon Rock): Strives for clarity in the lead, balanced against the rhythm's raw energy, polished with just Reverb and Studer.

Tracks 9-15: Showcase a mix of SongCreator outputs and original tracks like "Three Dimensional" and "Staircase of Perception," each with its own sonic signature.

🎸 Session #312: A Journey Through Tones and Classics 🎶

Embark on a musical journey with Session #312, where each track is a testament to the versatility and depth of guitar music. From the multiple warm-ups of "Blue Sky" to the intricate layers of JerryC's "Canon Rock," this session is an exploration of sound and technique.

Track 1: A showcase of various tones, setting the stage for the rest of the session.

Tracks 2 & 3: Capture the essence of "Blue Sky" and "Canon Rock" with a dry approach, later enhanced with Tape and Reverb for that full, rich sound.

Tracks 5-8: My tone evolves, especially from track 5 with "Emerald Attempt" and into the Thin Lizzy classics "Cowboy Song" and "Jailbreak," both in Rhythm and Lead versions.

Track 10: A simple warm-up from E Eflat to E Standard, serving as a prelude to the soulful rendition of "Whipping Post" in Track 11.

🎵 Session #313 is a deep dive into tone exploration and musical mastery. The session begins with "Tone finding, Warmup," setting the stage for a journey through sound and texture.

🎸 Track 2 brings a rendition of the Allman Brothers Band's "Blue Sky," where I experimented with a UAD Hitsville trial, trying the Dave Tozer-Guitar Riff preset. This setup gave an interesting boost to the sound, making me question if the plugin is really worth it – but the difference is certainly audible!

🎶 In Track 3, I warmed up with several attempts at "Canon Rock," setting up the UAD Pultec DEQP-1A and DI-Guitar Warmer preset. This was followed by a full performance of JerryC's "Canon Rock" in Track 4, where I turned off EQ to avoid clipping, relying on Reverb and Studer for the sound texture.

🔧 Tracks 5 and 6 feature my original "Three Dimensional," where I reintroduced EQ for the leads and maintained the Hard Rock UAD Studer, with the UAD Pultec set to Electric Gtr Bite, and Realverb-Pro set to Small Bright Room.

🎧 The session culminates with "Always Remember," a triptych of Lead, Rhythm, and AltLead performances, where I took extra care in getting the right sound. The EQ was meticulously adjusted to prevent clipping, and a UAD FairChild 670 was added to the Master to tweak the right channel. Each of the three tracks was reverbed individually to maintain the Left-Center-Right separation.

Track 6 I removed EQ - as it made the tone thin, whereas Rhythm needs width :P
Track 7 re-added EQ back although it made tone thin

Track 8 I replaced Oxide with Studer because tone being harsh and clipping, also removed EQ to have fat tone, also placed Studer before Reverb this time.

Track 9 fits the tone not beeing too harsh without push from Oxide/Warm

Track 10,11 same settings as 9 - nice and fat crunchy tone not too warm, just enough reverb to fill the small bright room :)

Track 12 sounds so dark for a small bright room! wow! that rhythm hits hard! damn bugs writing albums!

Track 13 makes me think (at-least the intro) portion of AltLead is more of a prepared solo arrangement than Lead, well atleast in intro to mid.

Track 19 I swapped the Studer with Oxide(Warm) to make it more of a harsh tone as Canon Rock sounds better distorted/overdriven.
Oxide first in list followed by Neve then Verb.
