Inspired by Sarah Kay's "If I Should Have a Daughter", this song is written from the voice of a woman and her dream of raising a daughter with openness and courage.  The promise not to shield her from life’ s storms , but to walk beside her through them — soaking in the rain, tasting the sweetness and the ache of the world, and learning that her voice, though small, will always matter.
