A while ago I was asked to write a verse and chorus about someone's mum who died from cancer, so I put myself in that persons shoes and wrote the song as if it was from their perspective and what it must have felt like for them around the time before she passed. A kind of pain that I can't even fully imagine, though I tried my best to... 'Thank You Mum' is the result.
