"I chopped some drums I found on a Polish record I dug up at some thrift store for a quarter, and the rest was just spontaneous creation. 

I've held that one back for a while but felt like it should finally be heard. I called myself saving it for a project, but I got sidetracked and involved in all this other stuff so I eventually scrapped the idea. Once these other projects I'm involved with come to fruition, I'll definitely be starting something else of my own! "

Brand new Bastard Jazz signing Buscrates comes out of the gate swinging with his first release for the label full of the bubbling, electronic funk he's become known for. "Lost & Found" features the vocal talents of Sally Green over a slappin' bassline, guitar licks and airy synths while "Cruise Control" goes on an instrumental ride with it's heavy drums, catchy g-funk lead and growling bass. Buscrates joins forces with Vancouver based vocalist Kate Moe Dee on “How Ya Gonna Do It”, which lyrically has her questioning the part of human nature that is drawn to unhealthy relationships and finding the strength to break free from such a toxic environment. Her delivery meshes quite well with Bus’s heavy hitting drums and funked out synth grooves, which capture an old school vibe blended with modern overtones.
