New single from the team of German production duo JR & PH7 and New Jersey emcee trio St. Joe Louis. Boasting a guest verse from Strong Island rhyme champion, Roc Marciano, "Driven" is a hazy, xylophone-laced banger for hip-hop heads.

"Driven" is the second advance single from the forthcoming album "Coral Cadavers" to be released this June. According to St. Joe spitter, Michael Cardigan it’s a concept album of a "neo-noir psychological thriller about a woman’s descent into moral ambiguities against the backdrop of Los Angeles." Speaking on Roc’s inclusion on the track, Cardigan added "like a good heist picture, Roc Marci is the wild-card/out of town gunner who shakes things up at the last minute. JR & PH7 worked with him on their previous album, "The Good Life". After placing a call to him, he liked the joint and jumped on it, done deal."

GWEN BUNN is a musical triple threat from Georgia. The singer, songwriter, producer became an industry phenomenon when she produced the single ‘COLLARD GREENS’ by SCHOOL BOY Q featuring KENDRICK LAMAR, which earned her her first GRAMMY nomination as a producer. GB’s significant contribution to HIDE&SEEK is the ever so funky ‘WITHOUT A DOUBT’.

Hailing from Washington DC, we are delighted to present the mysteries and wonders of MUHSINAH. Having collaborated with COMMON, JAZZY JEFF and of course THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE, MUHSINAH enlightens our space with ‘SOMEBODY IN MY WORLD’. 

Next up is the exciting sound of US based trumpet player and composer, LERON THOMAS featuring the stand out vocals of BILAL on ‘ROLE PLAY’. BILAL needs no intro as one of the fore fathers of the Neo-Soul / Jazz movement. LERON THOMAS is one of today’s most coverted musicians having consistently worked and toured with the likes of ROBERT GLASPER, LAURYN HILL and MOS DEF.

STEVIE WONDER and everyone’s favourite DJ, DJ SPINNA is up next with the exclusive song ‘TONIGHT WE RIDE’ featuring the Soul laced vocals of our very own PHONTE. This one for sure is the HIDE&SEEK sing-a-long jam.

TAMISHA WADEN is a member of THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE touring band but here we see her shine as a solo artist with the stunning ANITA BAKER esque ‘GOOD FOR ME’.

THE DIVIDENDS is an American musical duo that consists of GRAMMY winning producer S1 and singer/songwriter SARAH JAFFE. The guys drop the hot single ‘SUMMER GLO’ featuring Dallas based rapper/singer SAM LAO.

Last but by no means least is the super fly DAVID HARNESS remix of ‘JUST WHATCHA LIKE’ by ZO! feat. JOI. Already championed by some of the biggest DJ’s, this joint is pure fire!!

What started out as a simple email exchange between a young, hungry beatmaker and a seasoned player in the worlds of jazz and midwestern indie hip-hop, has resulted in a vibrant record nearly a decade in the making. On one side of Let It Out sits Miles Bonny, a long time musical collaborator who spent his youth soaking in powerful musical moments in NYC under the tutelage of his trumpet-slinging father, Francis Bonny, and later as a teen immersed in New York’s busy indie-hip-hop scene. As he grew up Miles cemented himself a niche in the Midwest, most notably in Lawrence, Kansas where tireless forays into beatmaking led to the founding of the much-loved INnatesounds Crew and record label, as well as a series of solo releases and collaborative projects.

Eventually shifting his focus to his own vocal stylings, it wasn’t long before Miles caught the attention of the international music community, including the young, curious ears of the at time unknown, soon-to-be future R&B sensation Ta-Ku. Through a series of emails and conversations, Ta-Ku asked to send Miles beats and the two planned to work on a series of tracks. From there the pair developed a friendship that was built upon mutual encouragement and a creative admiration between two artists both navigating their own personal and professional responsibilities. 

The Let It Out EP, released on Brooklyn’s Bastard Jazz Recordings, acts as the culmination of such an intimate and organic journey. Recorded by Miles in Kansas City during a time he was experiencing the oft-turbulent tasks of true adulthood, the record focus on the life of a young father, underpinned by how we often bottle up difficult emotions and creativity when the pressures of today’s complicated world reach fever pitch. Brimming with emotive, intimate lyrics from Miles spread amidst Ta-Ku’s soul-drenched beat work and syrupy future grooves, the EP will hit close to home for anyone whose daily lives calls for a much needed dose of personal reflection and chilled-out decompression.
