For our FLY competition entry we pictured ourselves behind the decks at Cab Vol and made a peak time mix comprised of house music.

We are Beat Farm, a DJ duo from Glasgow who formed earlier this year.  This year we have hosted various nights in underground nightclubs across Glasgow.

We love playing various sub genres of house from acid to deep and everything in between, and we'd love to bring our sound to Cabaret Voltaire.

We start the new year with a fresh new House mix from upcoming Isle of Man based DJ/Producer duo, ROOMTOUR.

This mix spins some of the hottest House tunes with big drops and high energy. Having met these guys at our last Birthday event, it is clear to see they have a huge passion for Electronic Music and this mix showcases that. Along with DJing, these two are producing some lovely groovy House tracks that you are sure to hear in the not too distant future. 𝟯𝟵 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 welcomes Paris based producer 𝗝𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗮𝗵 for his Time Dilation EP, a release that bends perception into new shapes. Known for weaving cosmic shades of house and progressive into his work, he steps deep into the hypnotic across all 4 tracks.

"𝘏𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵" starts with a more delicate frame, but soon locking into a rolling bassline that drives everything forward with heavy momentum. Around it, layers of acid textures and flickering sounds keep spiraling, giving the sense of being pulled through a tunnel, a warp in time and space.

What makes it special is the contrast. Between the bass pressure and the sharp, distorted edges, you catch lighter fragments too like chirping motifs that echo like birds deep in a forest. It’s this balance of force and subtlety that makes this track so gripping: heavy yet lifted, hypnotic yet alive.
