This is number one of a series, by which I'm fusing world, ambient, and other field recorded musics, composed and decomposed, to reflect how and why I listen to everything. The thread weaving together tracks on each episode could be as tight as instrumental selection or as loose as track titles containing the number 5. I generally like to hear pipes, bells, whistles, many-stringed instruments, and voice. This is possibly evident in the music I opt to assemble and share. I also care about blending in a way that numbs out harsh temporal, aesthetic, and geographic border lines. I would hope for my mezclando to render a broad, un-stylish, and unrefined base of appreciators.
