This song was not originally suppose to be on the project.  After the death of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile freedom was a something that felt so far away for my people. I wanted to create, i wanted to write, but I had no words. J. cole's Be Free felt right and gave me a way to express my pain.  I also allowed two spoken word artist, Genesis Renji and Haley Alexis, to express themselves freely on this track, giving other perspectives on the situations.

Now with the Riots and Protesting happening in Milwaukee, the frustration and pain of my people is extremely evident! This is a song for the times.

In her writing she incorporates jazz, R&b, indie, gospel, and soul into songs she writes.She has been featured on tracks with artist such as Emmitt James, Ar Wesley, B-Free and Camb. She also Lead singer in the band Rhythm Changes and background singer in the band Foreign Goods.
