Taking the reins and leading us to an oasis of dark soulful tunes is Steyoyoke newcomer Aaryon. It’s his very first Steyoyoke podcast since joining the family and it highlights exactly why this producer is pushing forward with immense pace and speed. Aaryon’s signature sound and vibe is mirrored perfectly right throughout this mix and u will find yourself being happily infected with goose bumps and bliss filled smiles. 

Some of the artist names featured in the track listing include Dahu, Whomi, DJ Koze, Skena and Patlac. Aaryon also gives his debut Steyoyoke EP a full test drive and uses both ‘Fairy Tales’ and ‘Chlorine’ in this podcast, along with an upcoming collaboration with Animal Picnic.

It's no secret that we're big DABJ fans over here at BR HQ. So you can only imagine how thrilled we were to see their next release is coming courtesy of L.I.E.S., Creme Affair and Bad Mums contributor TX Connect. 

This next one is due to drop just before Christmas, on the 22nd December in fact. Once again affirming the Glaswegian label's credentials as "the gift that keeps on giving".


TX Connect "Trixxter" - Boiler Room Debuts

After the success of their debut Polina EP (as played by Dixon, Tale of Us, Agoria et al), Agents of Time return to Correspondant with their most powerful work to date. 

The Emperor EP sees their sound growing to fill the worlds biggest dance floors, but without losing the signature emotional and cerebral edge which gives their music a notably personal and intimate feel. 

Title track, “Emperor”, has as anthemic a feel as its regal title would suggest. Ploughing a grand and emotional furrow, but with a driving techno Aesthetic.

“Metamorfosi” is a deeper affair, which builds to a tense, spectral conclusion that is simultaneously dramatic and, dare we say it, heart wrenching. 

Hydra is the most minimal track on the EP, yet still manages to be at once dubbed out and theatrical, with skittering and shuffling percussion throughout.

Nazgul continues the tradition of left field house as championed by Correspondant, and as exemplified by label artist Andre Brattan with his track Tromer Og Bass, but with an added horror soundtrack flair which only the Italians can truly bring.

Emperor EP is due out via Correspondant on May 04.

With a massive output of collaborations in the last couple of months with Tube & Berger, Paji, Flo MRZDK or Chemical Surf, it’s definitely time again for Juliet Sikora to bring her very own and long-awaited EP to your speakers! After her huge success being producing part next to Tube & Berger on “Come On Now (Set It Off)” last year, “Larrys Garage EP” consisting of two tracks is one of the most promising releases on the Kittball-catalogue for the first half of 2015. The title track grooves with a deep bass going with a female soul vocal and a cheering crowd which is something in accordance for the upcoming summer and Open Air-Season. “Tender Trip” is a small following to the underground sound of the 90’s tripping with a more classic base and acid-biased loops. All in one this is a package you should keep a strong eye on as it will for sure touch you more often the next months! 2015 is going to be a massive year for Juliet Sikora with an output of strong remixes for Lane 8, Notize & Fura and further collaborations with Tube & Berger, Nakadia and Berlin based Lars Moston!
