A hot DJ and producer, Chanel Deejay has been hustling in 2021. She played - in my opinion - one of the best line ups in Australia in 2021 so far (hello 4D 📍), has brought heat as a designer (check poster for @nectarsydney ), and is absolutely killing the fashion game - having designed a print, collabed on a look, then walked it down the damn runway at @ausfashionweek 🌋 if you're not across her other works, i highly suggest checking them out.

This mix brings an hour of hot, sweaty sounds - the perfect innuendo for spring 🌹

Sydney 4-piece future soul outfit, Kyoshi, show a sense of maturity adopted in their second single LUSH, a follow up to their 2017 debut single, Naima. LUSH portrays a progressive sound for Kyoshi whilst containing elements of neo-soul, progressive jazz and RNB. The world is currently going through a period where more and more people are finding themselves lost and LUSH is a comment on that, not the state of lostness but our reactions to that state and how its becoming more and more socially acceptable to succumb to that negativity rather than draining it. We hope LUSH finds you well . . . 

The LUSH Tour will be launched on August 10 at LazyBones Lounge in Marrickville and will feature dates in Melbourne and Newcastle

Kyoshi is a 4-piece chemical compound of funk, neo-soul, space fusion and progressive jazz. Originating in Sydney, Kyoshi formed in early 2017 and since then, have been writing tunes which enhance the harmonic, melodic, rhythmical and textural aspects of music. The band do not consider themselves held down to one genre or style of music which is why elements of various different styles feature in the compositions creating a diverse myriad of cultures and rhythms. Kyoshi aim to enjoy their music with as many people as possible, so don't hesitate to let a friend know about them or shout 'Kyoshi' at the top of a mountain!
