Tim and i got together again on the 21st of September and Let 'The Music' flow through us..., creating a wholly different Tone than our last piece.

This time i asked him to bring his Telecaster back into the MiX, and OMG... he obliged in his often understated way, but nevertheless with passion and aplomb.

In-deed, we Tone Painted something delicately New and Mellow together.

For this Song without Words, I explored the cheerful and elegant style of the baroque Bourree. It has made for a lengthy addition to my ongoing SWW project, so much so that the best recording overruns the 10 minute limit that SoundCloud has for its promotions, so here is that recording sped up to come in under the time limit (although the speeding up has caused a little impairment of the tone). Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy it!

On December 12, 2020 Engelbert Humperdinck welcomed his fans around the world into his home with his first-ever Christmas Special. Livestreaming around the globe via the Looped app, the online concert featured performances of Engelbert's favorite holiday classics and Christmas songs, along with a few special guests and surprises.

Included in the live performance was the debut of his rendition of "Blue Christmas," made famous by his dear friend, Elvis. Due to popular demand from his fans, Engelbert is releasing a studio version of his update to the classic with a Texas Two Step arrangement.

A native of Seoul, South Korea, pianist Kyoung Im is a vocal and instrumental collaborative pianist. Having completed her Master in Accompanying and Professional Studies degree, Kyoung Im received her Doctor of Musical Arts in Accompanying in 2012 with Merit Scholarship from the Manhattan School of Music.

Dr. Kim won several solo competitions in Korea, and was first prize winner at the Artur Balsam duo competition. She performs solo and collaborative concerts in Europe, the US, and Asia. She is regularly invited to international festivals, such as the Heifetz International Institute, the Summit Music Festival in Aaron Rosand's class, the Southampton Arts Festival, the Amati Music Festival, the Icicle Creek Chamber Music Festival, and Academia Latinoamericana del Violín in Venezuela.

She was selected to participate in Master classes with Robert McDonald, Lambert Orkis, and Martin Katz. She also accompanied Master classes by violinists Glen Dicterow, Pamela Frank, Frank Peter Zimmermann, Leonidas Kavakos, and singers Marilyn Horne and Thomas Hampson.

Dr. Kim is a staff pianist for the Manhattan School of Music College division.
