Here is my track from the new Ponies at Dawn: Oceansong compilation!

This song was inspired from a synth pad patch in a plugin I purchased awhile ago called Twist 2 by Sonivox. Its the sound you hear from the very beginning of the song and it plays throughout the track. From its very organic, natural tone, I instantly thought ''A Waterfall!''. So I decided to base a whole song around it! I think it turned out pretty great, and I hope you all enjoy it too. <3

Waterfall (feat. Velvet R. Wings)

Hey all, back with a little 2 track EP

These two tracks are very personal to me. They’re themed around the feelings of heartache I felt and still feel now after breaking up with my ex boyfriend in October of 2020. We were together for nearly 2 years. I loved him so much, so much so that I considered him my husband in my mind even though we weren't married. I was sure in my heart that I’d spend the rest of my life with him. He made me feel so safe, so secure. I miss that feeling very much.. Everyday. Over eight months later, I still deal with the heartbreak at times. Anything can trigger it. Sometimes it's random. All of a sudden, my mind shows me old memories of us that I cherish greatly, and I want to curl up in a ball and cry my heart out because it hurts knowing that time is never coming back. There are certain songs I love that I have a hard time listening to now because of what they remind me of. It's just too painful… It hurts so much.

But, I’m making progress. I’m moving on everyday, trying not to hold onto things that will never come back. It’s just a process. My heart is still healing, letting go, and healing hurts. But I know I’m heading in the right direction. One day I won't feel this anymore.

💬 This song was a bit experimental for me. It was my first song in Ableton Live. Thanks to its very powerful tools for sound designing, I used sounds here that I never have before in my music, which was very exciting! I find Ableton Live to be a lot better for me personally when it comes to making Ambient music than FL Studio. I look forward to making more music in it in the future. 
💬 I wanted to portray a feeling of zen here, not happy or sad emotions, but a state of calm and peace. We all need an escape from life at times. Sometimes the stress and anxiety is so immense. So, I made this for those in need of relief. Medicine to calm your disturbed minds, sleep aid to help you rest soundly at night.
💬 I chose the name ''Late Night Sketch'' because this song was born one late night several months back. I'd been having nightmares for a week straight, making me afraid to go to sleep, so I decided to sit down and start a song. I like to call my wips sketches, as I see my music as art pieces, hence, ''Sketch''. Originally it was just a placeholder name until I found something that was more fitting, but in the end I settled on keeping it as it really started to grow on me. Really gives the song a very artistic feeling.

Late Night Sketch

My 2nd and Final entry to Ponytronic's Impetuous View Remix competition!

So, funny story. I was going to try to remix Yielding For A Brighter Tomorrow, but I had gotten so caught up in it, I forgot I couldn't use MLP Vocals, which it contained. And when I took the vocals out, it didn't sound NEARLY as good as it did before (to my ears, at least). So, I left the project alone, and decided to try another track: Adios, For Now. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

~On a clear crisp summer evening, Twilight prances playfully through the oak forest. Rays of sunlight warm her heart and gentle winds caress her wings. Perching cardinals sing out a graceful lullaby, making her ears gleam brightly. She feels at peace, at home. She can't imagine a place she'd rather be.~

This track is a little different from my previous works. I sought out to tell a story here, to create something that illustrates me and my life in general. Each section of this song is a chapter, tying together a story about me escaping to the forest, to deal with my problems. I suffer from unrelenting anxiety that haunts me every waking moment, making merely existing very difficult at times. Being out in nature, feeling the gentle wind melt my stress away, hearing the melodious mourning dove calls that warm my heart to tears, helps me cope with the pain. It frees me from the agonous dread, for a little while...
It wasn't easy mustering up the courage to make this, to be open about my personal struggles, but I succeeded, and made a piece of art that I'll forever hold dear to my soul. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I do :)

RoomVR - Winter's Embrace

~You lay in a grassy plain one spring evening, gazing up at the bright moonlight sky. Stars, big and small, sprinkled abroad, like magic potion being poured from a wooden bowl. Falling meteors begin to dot the sky, leaving behind trails of stardust, resembling paintbrushes gliding across a inky indigo colored canvas. You sigh deeply as you take in this beautiful sight. As you look up at the sky, a tiny cricket lands next to your cheek, lowly chirping a soothing lullaby. Its sweet song calms your aching soul, making your heart smile brightly.  ''Am I dreaming.. Is this real?'', you say as a warm tear runs down your face.~

This track is about my love for the night. I wanted to portray the feelings that I experience while looking up at the stars; feelings of love and comfort, wonder and awe... and peace. Everything is just so peaceful. I wish it could night all of the time...

I present to you all, the first of hopefully many compilations to come in the future, based around my OC, Kyradeen. She’s still a relatively new character to me at the moment. I know who she is, which is basically a replica of myself, but have not taken her anywhere just yet. As I continue my musical journey, I plan to build her up and the world around her. I also wanted to show off my composition skills with these pieces. I'm immensely proud of how far I've come in terms of writing melodies and chord progressions. Piano music is something that I've dabbled with in the past but never pursued much until now. After working on this EP, I can definitely say that I will be making more of it in the very near future. I enjoyed working on these tracks very much!
