Serial Killaz are a well-established Drum and Bass label, priding themselves on championing a series of memorable releases from a myriad of the scene’s freshest talents. The label has emerged once more with a dynamic release courtesy of StillZ, dubbed the 'All I Need EP', featuring Alphaze.

A name continuously and frequently popping up across the circuit, Brighton-hailing DJ and music producer StillZ has captured the attention of his listeners with an enthralling back catalogue of heavy-hitting Drum and Bass floor fillers. One half of the AntiSocials duo, the up-and-coming artist never fails to bring the heat in the form of spell binding productions and high-octane DJ sets.

Uniting with StillZ to sculpt an iconic project, fellow Brighton DJ and Producer Alphaze lends his experimental approach to Jump Up Drum and Bass- injecting the body of work with his very own signature flavour. Adding layers to the exciting project.

All I Need EP comprises of four vivacious tracks; perfectly personifying StillZ and Alphaze and their infectious sound. Each individual track delves into the pairs passion and energy to create the best quality music, with a series of inspired offerings laced with expertly crafted drum patterns , perfectly paired with unique samples. Counterpoint Recordings is happy to announce their first release in this new decade, featuring a collaboration single between two of our core artists – Molecular & Lavance.

After a few quiet months, we’re following our rebrand launch with a steady flow of quality music for the rest of the year. Starting off, we present a 2-track single from two of our outstanding inhouse talents.
Portuguese native Molecular has been on the spotlight with a steady flow of releases in labels like Delta9, Fokuz and Skankandbass. Working on his craft since a young child, he went from learning classic piano to creating enormous dirty basslines. 

For the title track he invites Belgium’s Lavance who is no stranger to our catalogue, and who also has been enjoying a highly creative streak, with music featuring on 1985 Music, Overview and his own self-released music. 

Marking the beginning of a new era for Counterpoint Recordings, this single sets the benchmark for what is to come and shines a light on the creativity inside of our core artist roster.

Side B // Molecular – They Won't

"They Won't" sees Molecular go in for a solo track which showcases some of his best skills, by delivering a perfect sonic blend of relentless bassline groove and clinical rolling percussion work – all tied up with the perfect progression. 

Nothing gets old during the track, there is always something new happening, surprising you again and again, right from the start. New sounds, new Delays, new drums, you won’t get bored listening through the whole track, as it is dressed to progress.

The percussive dynamic low end sets the tone, whilst the drum work and midrange tie everything together into a tune which is directly aimed at dancefloors worldwide.
