I've been a huge fan of this track since James Vincent McMorrow put it online. With the release of his album "Post Tropical" recently I decided to finish an idea I started months back. Inside the album he is exploring some Rnb styles throughout, so I've pushed it just a bit further.

"It began with a crazy sandstorm around the Mayan Warrior Bus so there were not that many bike-riders following us when I started. But with every second of this wild desert sunset, more and more people joined our stage. In the end I couldn't even see the end of the crowd. I am so thankful to everybody who faced the sandstorm and danced with us in the dust. You guys and mother nature created a very special vibe, which I will never forget.
Actually I played 4 tracks which I never had played before. Two of them are not even released yet. I really hope you like this set. See you next year at the playa In dust we trust"

The latest in a long line of breath-taking emotion-laden hitters (think 'Hi', 'Mantra' and 'Gira' in the last year alone) the unstoppable Monkey Safari roll out an eight minute moment of calm in an otherwise chaotic, uncertain world. Disarming chord progressions, a gradual sense of release and hope and a spoken word sample that will bring many to tears, 'Safe' is one of Monkey Safari's most thoughtful and well-executed tracks to date.

'Just a few months ago, when our lives had not been upside-down yet, we produced 'Safe' as a message of unity, hope, and love. Just a normal day in the studio.
