This high energy cover of Slender Bodies Belong kicks off the Hello Yes project. Lush guitar lines and vocal melodies capture listeners right off of the bat and introduce the profound vocals of the duo. Soulful horns paired with upbeat drums bring high energy that is perfect for a multitude of settings like work, a day party with friends, or a kickback on the weekend. 

Hello Yes connected with Slender Bodies while working with Emotional Oranges and the inspiration for a cover rolled in. This cover embodies the energy of Hello Yes, and is a preview into the sound listeners can expect from their debut EP coming out in 2022.

Hello Yes, the duo consisting of guitarist Mitch Bell and saxophonist Aaron Leibowitz, was born during off time on the road with electronic artist Zhu who they continue to perform and collaborate with. The sound is novel, conjuring Mitch’s smokey, yet sophisticated guitar and Aaron’s gut jerking saxophone into compositions that could be described as indie groove meets electro club. The wave of first releases draws lyrically from true relationship struggles while exploring a sonic palette that blends modern electronic sounds with classic song writing. The two have toured the past 4 years frequenting main stages at EDC, Life is Beautiful, Electric Forest, Lightning a Bottle, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, ACL and many others. They can also be heard as collaborators on releases from Emotional Oranges, THEY., Jason Mraz, and Tame Impala. In a modern day fashion, the duo writes, produces, and performs all of their own music.

Literally an hour after Boris announces that we can see the horizon of beautiful messy sticky dark noisy ravesssss, we are putting out our song about longing for the return of that culture! And I swear down this is just a truly wonderful coincidence! But it makes me feel really verrrrry happy. 🤗🤗🤗

The Blessed Madonna and I had a chat on zoom a few months back now and she was talking in the infinite and naturally poetic way that she does about, well really how everrrrrryone is feeling! And because we were writing it was being recorded! So I sampled it! And tuned her to be singing at times and I just reeallllyyy love it. And also an enormous big ups to the great Boston Bun who we produced it with.
