M83 - Coloring The Void (Wilds Remix)

Definitely one of my favourite remixes to date.  Ghastly always has a ton of energy in his productions, and I did my best to make sure that I maintained a similar same vibe in my remix, but with my own spin on things (in this case a bit of 80s stadium rock meets future bass and drumstep). Matt's vocals - as always - are just fantastic, so crafting a new progression etc. around them was a ton of fun, as well as a great lesson in solid pop song-writing.

Coastline feat @mushroompeople is the result of over two years of honing my sound and image. This marks the first single release of what will be the lead up my debut EP.
The song features the infectious vocals of German band, Mushroom People, as well as my signature sound, blending acoustic instruments from guitar, piano to Indian tabla with heavy synth basses, leads and vocal chops. This song was inspired by my hometown of Vancouver Canada, and all the summer evenings spent watching the Coastline fade away into the night.
