Recovered beats and rough drafts from a respawned* cassette tape.
These songs/beats were made during the sessions for a now scrapped project titled “SON”
The concept for the most part was supposed to deal with letting the light within me shine more
I wanted to keep the gritty-ness I had on Straitdrop MAGAZINE but with a warmer sound and focus more on personal topics than displaying lyrical ability
My creative process mainly involved drum programming and chopping samples on Maschine mkII, processed through the SP-404sx with Compression then recorded to cassette.
