Since the 90s, the characteristic 303 acid sound has been one of the main elements in most electronic DJ sets. We dedicate a series of online mixes from talented artists, which will contain those smiley-facing sounds. Electro, techno, rave, breakbeats, house, acid acid acid! Every month, a 1-hour acid mix will be uploaded on our Soundcloud!

Prepare for some sunshine acid from the Berlin DJ and producer LASERBOY (@l-a-s-e-r-b-o-y). In his mixes, he blends fast-paced techno and atmospheric trance. He doesn't limit himself to particular subgenres but instead creates unique combinations of Old School and New School electronic music to get the crowd and dance floor boiling. Apart from his DJing and own electronic compositions, LASERBOY manages the record label PULZAR Recordings (@p-u-l-z-a-r), which hosts parties in Berlin. In August, he'll release his first EP on Everyone On Acid. Stay tuned, and keep it laser!

“There is a reason there are so many 303 clones or 303-inspired bass line synthesizers. Acid shaped the sound of electronic music in the 90s but is still relevant today. Be it the classic high-pitched tweeting or the distorted roaring, acid always adds a special note to a track by providing driving energy as well as some raw, old-school nostalgia.”
