The entire purpose of this is to get more artists exposed to hearing/making real mashcore. Think of it as a love letter to the genre and the long history it has. How does it work? One person makes a mashcore track and nominates 3 other musicians. Then, the nominated musicians have to make their own mashcore track and nominate other people too. It's meant to set off a little chain of events of people "responding" to the challenge, similar to the war dub and #NOISE_BATTLE on Twitter.

I encourage all you musicians to join in and make your own mashcore tracks! Have fun, get creative, and be sure to use the hashtag #MashcoreBattle in your tags!

𝗗𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗬 𝗦𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠:
+ Easy - Track can be made easily with few samples, simple chopped breakbeats, and around 1-2 minutes. Mostly for people who aren't typical mashcore artists
+ Medium - Track is more difficult with numerous samples, multiple complex breakbeats, little to no patterns, and around 2-4 minutes. This one is a bit of a test for those have made mashcore/breakcore before or claim to!
+ Hard - Track must be absolutely chaotic. 30 samples minimum, large amounts of breakbeats, very complex chops and automation, lots of effects, and 5 minutes or longer. Use this one on the professionals or gigamashcore artists!
