this is a remix i made for a college assignment, it is a work in progress, the DAW i used is Logic Pro 9. i looked at a lot of chill step and groups such as the XX and the Glitch mob to figure out a way to approach the melodic moody feel i wanted for this track!

this track snippet was also made in logic as part of a college assignment. i took inspiration from an old orchestral piece id heard that was mixed in with some new dubstep.

My name is Logan Booth, I am 17 years of age and am currently Studying a Music Tech Diploma at Truro College.
I Graduated From Treviglas Community College in 2012 after studying Music, Maths, Science English and ICT coming out with C grade GCSE's in all.
my hobbies are Music and Gaming and for me these to go hand in hand, a great piece of music allows any world or idea to come alive and submerge gamers in a word. 
The way i go about designing a piece of music is quite straight foreword but i feel it is also a unique approach, i will start with a basic melody idea and an over all feel i wish to design to the song, this could be a moody song with deep drums that feel of in the distance or an up beat song that has a pumping bass melody to drive it foreword, for an example. from this core idea i can build on the rest of the track as i work and i feel that this allows for a smooth process over all.
