The use of drum's, synths, effects and so on pretty much sum up the reason why it is a Nostalgia mix (for me of course). The use of the whistle, the remix to "No One On Earth" and other various drums including the bass, all sum up the things I listened to back in the day as a teenager. This was also one of my first projects where I was experimenting with side chain compression.
