possibly the greatest start to a mix <3 ball

For this installation of the L.I.E.S. Podacast series we have a mix from Sling and Samo of Stockholm. Through the years the duo have been heavily involved in Stockholm's world of underground electronic music, running numerous labels together, djing, and throwing loft parties, whlist Samo was a longtime employee at Snickar's Records.

Fast forward to the present, Sling and Samo have started their own imprint Born Free Records (see links below) http://www.slingandsamo.com/ http://soundcloud.com/bornfreerecords putting out and remixing an interesting array of local talent from Stockholm with an always unique take on different strains of electronic music.

Sling and Samo can also be found on the elusive LIES-BLK 02 with "DJ Tool #1" while Samo can be found with a solo effort of edits on LIES-BLK 03. Furthermore, Samo has an upcoming full length lp for L.I.E.S. this fall called the KWC 92 project alongside his good friend Max. More info on that later.

This mix sees the duo going for it tweaking various strains of acid, house, wave and the like. Sounds from Willie Burns, Nation, ripped up Torn Hawk, some messed up Lil Louis and the now famous Unovidual " Comme Je Suis" Samo edit are all present creating a hell of an adventure from this prolific duo.
