This is when I first recorded the rhythm guitar, mapped out basic drums and started to track the leads to the intro, first verse and chorus. At this stage I usually write basic drums over the rhythm then jam over that to spark gnarly ass sick leads and add additional drums as desired. In this case my co-writer/vocalist CJ gave me the notes/chords he wanted to sing over and I worked from those guidelines to create the third guitar lead.

This is the second verse and the first written part of this song. Originally the intro this is the rhythm guitar that sparked the concept of this whole song. The drums were mapped out and changed like three times but once CJ threw his ideas in they weren't so far from finished. The leads were sparked by the drum and rhythm guitar combo and recorded in three different sections because I suck and was excited so the gun was jumped :p

This is the pre chorus everything came naturally for this part but it took a lot of time to write. I tried to go for like a dramatic pop punchy feel and decided to put flowing leads and harmonie to back up the the rhythm. This is my personal favorite part because the lead I use is a modded version of one of the best leads I ever wrote. The drums I just tryed to get them to to follow the guitar nothing special. This is the first chorus everything came naturally for this part and took almost no time to write. I tried to go for like a dramatic skippy like feel. Still have no idea what I want the lead too be or even the bass but it will come with time. Recently CJ inspired and created a lot of drums and fixed the drum fills :p  Thanks guys I love you!
