1. As an artist, who had the most influence on you?
I'd have to say 4-hero. Without their music and sound I wouldn't be doing what I do today.

2. What can we look forwards to from Gunns Road?
Expect the unexpected. I personally don't know the limits yet of some of the extremely talented artists that I am working with on the label. Best thing is that there's no focus on trends or what anyone else is doing. It's just about putting out music I feel 100 percent about and hopefully seeing the artists get some proper attention. I'm constantly blown away by the music that I am hearing and it's extremely inspiring.

3. Bowling or Curling, if you had to watch one on TV, which, and why?
Pro bowling. Look up Kyle Troup.

Well this show is something different to the norm Bass Scoops stuff, it’s a Myriad Recordings and Smooth and Groove Records special edition I  recorded  live interviews at their joint club night in the summer of 2024 in Whitney UK.

Moakz's stunning debut album 'The Critical Path', releases on double 12" vinyl and digital on 6th June 2025. Beautifully mastered by Beau Thomas at Ten Eight Seven, and with stunning artwork produced by Clayton Burke, the release finds the artist in fine form, showcasing his cinematic sound in full length for the first time.

After a series of releases over the past four years, the Southampton, UK-based DJ / Producer and co-owner / A&R of Codename: RCRDS finally drops his distinctive debut LP , drawing on influences as diverse as film scores, soul, jazz, post-rock and techno for a warm, deep and often emotional take on the drum and bass / atmospheric drumfunk sound.
