I like the musical feel of this piece. Feels like an intro.

this feels like a brave intro. it has a brave feel to it that could possibly be made ever so slightly better by having some envelopes or LFOs changing the sounds just a tad more; at times the constant volume envelope makes it seem fairly static but with great timbre. and brave. great, brave timbre.

it's an interesting composition. but not a lot of effort will have gone into sound design or production. as always - the mastering level is way too loud.

As I understand it, is this one instance? Good sound. I liked the first half musically a lot more. But the volume is unreasonably high.

Nice track !  Has a lot of tension in it, and the organ patch fits well. I like how it builds up. This middle part improvisation is fun. I also thought is was rather on the loud side though, which makes it harder to digest for those that do not take the trouble of finding an optimal playback level.

I feel like the start of this could have been a little softer.  That first note hits really loud.

very nice organ part - needs more dynamics though.

Bold choice - only one instrument -- I feel like it needed to go somewhere - the last :30 seconds didn't get us anywhere (sorry).

This is my first attempt at the One Synth Challenge contest! All sounds present in this song were created with Cherry Audio SEM https://cherryaudio.com/products/synthesizer-expander-module/download ! It was a lot of fun making this cool song! Also it was pretty hard to get good drum sounds out of this thing.

As I think of my 14-year-old daughter, I go back to my own childhood. To my dusty, dimly lit room where I had a small synthesiser and an echo machine on some sort of an altar. I go back to my hopes and fears, my expectations, my goals, my beliefs and my love for music. Often too little time to make my own music because I couldn't stop listening to Bach, TD, Klaus Schulze, Jarre, Vangelis, Pink Floyd and Todd Rundgren.

I recognise so much in her. My beautiful 14-year-old daughter with all her hopes and fears and her love for music.

SixTraq Forest (OSC 188)

Jas wasn't alone this month cooking some hit em (5/4 time, 212bpm). I think the proposed style is better with a wash of breakbeats and distortion, but I did my best given the synth at hand. It was tough. I struggled with making a spread of decent percussions so I had to keep em mostly foundational. Please enjoy the weirdness!

SixTraq was strange to use as a vst. It took a while to get my head around the point of the workflow- likely audibly so. I mostly ignored the agonizingly hardwarelike arp/record layer functions and kept it mostly like a layered polysynth. But, it has quirks, kind of like a misshapen cousin of the Prophet 600. Props to Full Bucket for having the interest and persistence (and patience) to wrangle the code for such a thing. Also I didn't really have any bugs except for the undo thing.

-Mixed with Variety of Sound Plugins (BootEQ, Density, ThrillseekerVBL, TesslaSE, epicPlate, NastyDLA) and a smidge of OTT on the master for good luck.
