Good groove. The pumping off beat bass is a little to mid-muddy in my ears. It's really tricky to myke a bass audible on consumer speakers ... I guess thats why you let it range into the mids, right?

Nice structure, build to the drop,  filtered chords, etc. You'r drop is going to feel bigger if you contrast it with more dynamic range in the section leading up to it. I hear a desire for max loud in everything so that the punchy bits are getting lost. Mixing is a beast its an ongoing battle for all of us. Nice entry.

In the buildup and drop i think the kick gets squashed too much - it becomes mostly a blip in the midrange that gets in the way of your other sounds. If you didn't want it to take up any space in the bass range, maybe shortening it would help?

The progression reminds me of "Grey Horizon" by "Jaytech" which is a good thing. :)

Some very nice ideas which are unfortunately ruined by the production. As noted by others this has been procuded much too loud. Listening to it on my monitors literally makes my ears hurt due to the loudness. :( Less is more...

There is some clicking and popping going on here? To much compression?

He shouldn't be afraid, he was a policeman after all! Nevertheless, an uneasy feeling crept over him that simply could not be suppressed. He didn't like being out at night and yet he tried not to let on that he would rather be at home in his bed than prowling through the darkest streets of London in the middle of the night... 

He turned into Buck's Row and suddenly stopped... ‘What's that...?’ He walked slowly towards the small pile in the alley. It was dark and he couldn't see his hand in front of his eyes. Only now did he realise that he had not yet lit his lamp, even though his instructor had told him to do so again and again. 

He lit his lamp and shone it in the direction of the heap on the road and immediately wished he hadn't. Staring in fear and horror, he couldn't believe what he was seeing and without realising it, he cried like he had never cried before in his life...
