Agrio Tracks maiden release comes from everybody's favourite new producer Kyle Starkey. His tracks, blending signature 90's percussion with stabby rubber basslines, have been taking the house scene by storm recently. Being on high rotation in sets of artists like Job Jobse, THC and Jennifer Cardini has made it hard to have missed his tracks, even though you might not have known it at the time.

Storming the gates is Tryton, leaning heavily on sharp lead stabs that will be stuck in your brain like a true ear worm from way back then, creating the perfect glue between the worlds of house, trance and prog. However, while it does have a strong hint of nostalgia, you can't help but notice a distinct touch of freshness lying on top of it.

Whereas Tryton will please the peak time crowd, I Need U has the perfect filler features, while still making an impact on its own. The track subtlety balances old school vocal hooks and shouts with recognisable and simple synth melodies. If you are looking for the perfect assist to kickstart your night, this is it.

Embracing his recognisable 90’s hard house sound, DART joins the Agrio Tracks family with two big club anthems. Coming off the back of a massive summer collaboration with fellow Agrio artist Kyle Starkey, trailblazing this summer’s full revival of the genre, he now goes at it alone and guides us into a club season filled with potent house music.

‘Emergency’ is a powerhouse with bouncy bass lines that pull you in and latch you on to the track’s ever building energy early on. Small stab samples set the rhythm on top, creating a tense build up for the inevitable payoff. Filtering slowing beneath it all is a symphonic monster; once you hear that main synth line break through it’s head down and hands in the air. The blaring alarms only confirm what you’ve come to realise already: it’s an emergency!

Sticking to the theme of the release, ‘Emergency’ is followed in suit by ‘Acid Indigestion’. Whereas the former might be operating past a certain level of bluntness for some, the latter exudes the same type of power while retaining some subtleness about it. As the title suggests, the track leans on multiple layers of acid lines all readily following the same patterns, steering you into an eyes-closed groove that will eventually lead you into rapture at the inescapable end of the break.

The forthcoming LNOE release comes straight out of the Dublin clubbing scene with DART (Dublin Area Rapid Trax) delivering a series of fast paced banging house tracks. The four-track EP takes you through the scenery of a dark sweaty club for those of you who might be missing these moments.

DART is a trusted Dublin resident who has worked his way through the local club scene, and by now well beyond the city. Listening through the tracks the atmosphere of his antics certainly shine through, defining a fast paced and mechanic, but still very melodic sound. The title track ‘Sweet Nectar’ quickly catches you with it’s piercing lead sounds to bring you back down to a foundation of classic grooving drums. This defining sound paves the way for some for very impressive productions on this record.

This release also includes a remix by the native Irish duo Brame & Hamo. Their take on ‘Move Faster’ has a heavy 90’s rave flavor and proves to be the perfect round-off record to this release.

‘Sweet Nectar’ will be out on October 30th on LNOE.
