This EP was made over the course of a year (early ‘24 - mid ‘25). It was not intended to be a project initially. These songs were just the ones I was finishing and dropping immediately without thinking about how they’d fit on a project or if they even would. The concept/title developed on its own as I sat down and played these songs back to back. I realized how they perfectly documented pieces of the before, during, and after of a time of drastic change in my life. The not so calm before the storm, the start of a spiral, the intense pull of the winds leading to learning to sit comfortably in the eye of the storm.
