In Jacqueline's original version, an ominous and hypnotic soundscape is punctuated by a pulsating groove, while an exhilarating lead melody begins to take shape. I’ve been in love with sound for the past 7 years, but for some reason - I’ve always been afraid to finish songs, perform a DJ set in front of people, or basically just - put my name to a piece of audio.

My greatest passion has always been my deepest insecurity. Until now.

A few months ago, I happened to visit a tarot card reader and he recognised this fear of mine. He said that in October, I would get an opportunity to play in front of some friends. He said that them viewing me as a DJ/Producer or a musician - would give me the little spark I need to get over this fear & unlock the greatness that lies beyond. 

And sure enough, on the 1st week of October - one of my best mates - Sam Henry, better known as Shenry, happened to throw a party in a beautiful farmhouse nestled amongst the mountains behind Byron Bay, Australia. On the Sunday, when everyone was just relaxing, soaking up the sun, and gathering wood for the fire - I got the chance to step up & curate the sunset. 

It was actually the first time I’ve got to play with my gear that I know so well & love so much, my beloved Traktor S4, and in front of people. Suddenly, I felt fearless. 

This is that set.
