Foule Contact is about freeing ourselves from barriers and finding ourselves together, through music in its more profound way. Going from the virtual world to real-life and connect all together in each and every one of those tracks. Foule Contact is the idea that the current atmosphere won’t last forever, and that we already expect our reunion, cradled with tenderness and all the energy accumulated over the last few months.
This compilation is about 15 eclectic and danceable tracks. Gathering a broad spectrum of genres that animate us, from House to Italo-Disco, Afro cosmic or Leftfield.

Running Hot, is the story of two skilled and curious diggers with a tremendous and niche musical knowledge. Their track is freeing itself from the “genre” concept, and is built on a downtempo core combined with Bhangra and Hip House vibes.

Lungile Masitha was the short-lived studio name for renowned SA artist Sello ‘Chicco’ Twala, who played with such iconic bands as Harari and Umoja. However, in the mid 80’s his name was under license to one of the major labels and in an effort for self-expression recorded under the name ‘Lungile Masitha’, here he linked up with long term friend Jimmy Mngwandi to co-write and arrange the two tracks ‘Vuyani’ & ‘Makoti’, both sung in his native Tsongan tongue. Vuyani is an upbeat tune that matches Chicco’s unique vocal style with percolating drums and distorted choruses to incredible effect, while Makoti is a mellower blend of floating keys and choruses sung by local kids in an effort to expose “emerging talent”. Due out Jan 29th, distro through Rushhour.

Amajika - Got My Magic Working

From party people with shoulder pads, big hair, white Rolls-Royces, Panama hats, the Fragrant Harbour that is Hong Kong, had a very unique Hotel / Clubbing scene before places like DD’s, Canton Disco and Hot Gossip opened their doors.

These Discotheques were a place of creativity, panache and mischief of the era. They were all destinations of desire.

After the high-in-demand digital release of the “Extinct Melodies From The Canto Club” we’ve had a lot of requests for more Cantonese edits since features on Stamp The Wax and big names such as Blessed Madonna, Nd_baumecker, Crazy P, Ben UFO, Tim Sweeney and more have dropped these in their DJ sets. 
So we decided to start a series called “廣東會所 Canto Clubhouse” which will be dedicated to Cantonese edits. And what better way to start this series with the two canto head diggers of Hong Kong: MH and RFX. 

Club friendly and cheese is what this release is all about.
