With the aim of promoting freedom, diversity and everything linked to them, a new label is born: La Casita. Aligned with a fresh queer party in Berlin, La Casita is full of creativity, musical frequencies and unification in an inclusive and innovative space, allowing for total freedom of sexuality. 

Its first release, signed by Spicy Lab, could only be portrayed as happy, fun, full of color and somewhat provocative. On the single track “Plaster Cat”, a quite straightforward formula based on a catchy vocal hook (a wacky speech in Spanish) plus a kick, bassline and dynamic percussions delivers a form of what you can expect from La Casita from now on.

MR. TOKA, the multidisciplinary artist from Bogota who bills himself as a Marika Reggaetonera, continues to break barriers and consolidate his message. Since 2021, his goal has been clear: “There are almost no openly gay reggaetoneros in the contemporary commercial music scene.”

“REGGAYTON” is more than a song; it’s a sonic manifesto that celebrates diversity and the freedom to be yourself. With catchy beats and powerful lyrics, this single captures the essence of the LGBTQIA+ community, inviting everyone to party without prejudice or restrictions. MR. TOKA fuses styles such as Latin Trap, guaracha, dembow, dancehall and other genres, creating a unique sound under the concept of #REGGAYTON.

The EP contains four tracks: the Original version, A cappella, Acoustic and a Sped up version.

Currently, MR. TOKA is in Spain finishing his first album “NO ME MATEN, POR FAVOR”, which will be released at the end of 2024. “REGGAYTON” is the fourth single of this highly anticipated project and promises to be an anthem for all those looking for authenticity and representation in urban music.
