Premiere: Franz Matthews - Monsters Of Your Mind (Kimshies Remix) [AEON Audio]

The Hungarian tinkerers of the @secretfactorymusic make their Feines Tier debut with the forceful „Neon Jaguar Odyssey“ EP. 
And indeed the title track straight up sends us into a dizzying but satisfying whirlwind of emotions, with the rock-solid foundation of drums and bass guiding us through this odyssey safe and sound in the end. Similar things can be said about the follow-up „Metal Goblin“ with its simple yet catchy bassline loop building the groundwork for all the detuned percussions, confused vocal snippets and massive synth sounds. The result is a hypnotic snake charmer of a track, made for post-apocalyptic discotheques, all shiny and chrome. 
„Visions Of Joy“ doubles down on these vibes, impalpably luring us in with a stripped-down and brutally effective beat and tinges of oriental adjacent synth pads. The record-closing „Life After Birth“ starts out relatively innocent with broken drum machine patterns, but reveals itself to be another dance floor monster in the final minutes, cleverly layering analogue synth sounds on top of each other to lead us to a mesmerizing climax.

Kadosh is deeply rooted in the underground scene, playing everywhere from Fabric to Watergate to Blue Marlin in Ibiza. Following a debut EP on Golf Channel in 2015, Autarkic aka Nadav Spiegel has risen in status alongside his close friends and collaborators Red Axes and Moscoman. His recent debut LP for Disco Halal has garnered critical acclaim. Spiegel clearly has a rare talent as a songwriter, crafting the kind of intelligent, left-field pop music that one usually has to look back to the avant-garde of the 1980s to find.  If things were more downtempo, experimental and psych rock on his first EPs, these tracks for Turbo point squarely at the dance-floor, and have been staples in the sets of not only Moscoman and Red Axes, but in the other rising stars of the underground Israeli scene around labels like Malka Tuti and Fortuna records, as well as the global groove empire developing around Turbo A&R Thomas Von Party’s Multi Culti.
