Under the evocative name La famille, mother-son duo DJ MP and DJ Édou embody the spirit of Revel. Indeed, the family-friendly amplified music festival celebrates music, dance and the splendor of British Columbia through "slow raving".

DJ Édou, the eldest child of the Camthiaume family, is growing up with parents fascinated by music and the flavors of the world. From the age of five, the young prodigy was spontaneously immersed in the world of breakdancing, leading him on a never-ending quest for new songs. 

The family is therefore preparing a tribute to the world's hip-hop culture for the first part of the act.

DJ MP began DJing in the 2000s, when she founded an electronic music radio show, Shadow Jugglers, which she ran for ten years in Montreal, then Vancouver. The music lover, who has offers DJ training courses to young people, is thrilled to be involved in an intergenerational collaboration where she can explore her passion for music, with her son.

La famille invites you for a multicultural musical experience, where the only rule is to let yourself be carried away by the magic of music.

La famille (the family) is a DJ collective consisting of a mother (DJ MP), a father (DJ JC)  and their two children (DJ Édou & DJ ABC). Together, they use music as a playground, a space for connection and exploration. Each member is a dedicated crate digger, bringing their own sensibility, influences and energy to the decks. La famille embraces an intuitive and inclusive approach, with joy, curiosity and deep listening at the heart of the experience. Their passion for music is vibrant — and contagious.
