"BurnHard & Brendan Vintedge have some very impressive tracks on Soundcloud. The duo’s new LP, An Electronic Education, is available for streaming, and shows a smooth and sensual incorporation of R&B with glistening electronica, like a more upbeat venture from The Weeknd with production characteristics borrowed from electro-pop greats like Pet Shop Boys and Erasure. There’s a pulsating, modern club feel with a fervent electronic palate, as well. In BurnHard’s words, the project incorporates “contemporary musical influences with the more modern sounds of Chillstep/Chillout, Trap Music, Electro & Deep House, and Dubstep.” In other words, it’s a smorgasbord of various electronic styles, executed without a hitch here. The Weeknd comparisons are especially comparable vocally on “365″, another highlight from the LP, below. BurnHard’s LP involves the collaboration of Brendan Vintedge; dedicated American Idol fans may remember him from the top 30 in season six.
