Il progetto Lab Frequency nasce a Parma nel 2006 con l’obiettivo di promuovere la musica dub in tutte le sue sfaccettature sonore, dalle radici più primordiali del suono jamaicano alle contaminazioni più moderne di stampo britannico e francese. Iniziato come dj set, si trasforma presto in un live che, grazie ai 6 elementi che lo compongono, è in grado di esplorare sapientemente le infinite combinazioni musicali che si aprono grazie alla contaminazione di strumenti tradizionali e computer.Ha all’attivo diverse release sull’etichetta francese Original Dub Gathering e sulle nostrane Italian Dub Community e 4weed Records, nonchè live in tutta la penisola e in Europa al fianco anche di alcuni tra gli indiscussi guru internazionali del genere come Mad Professor, Zion Train, Iration Steppas, Martin Campbell, Vibronics e Aba Shanti.L'attività di dj set è proseguita comunque negli anni, sempre più contaminata dalle sonorità dubstep. Nel 2011 La crew ha suonato come resident al Queen Club di Milano e al MU di Parma, trovandosi a condividere il palco con artisti come Skream, Kode 9, Pinch, 16 Bit, Icicle, Data, Phace, Dj Spooky, Funkarma, Sukh Knight, Numa Crew, Jack Sparrow.

The LabFrequency born in 2006 in Parma (Italy), with the intention of promoting Dub music from the origins to its evolution. Characterized by the fusion of dub and electronics, from roots to dubstep, they began as a DJ, then decide to bring their productions at party's, building up a live set.
