about mobit. 
Born and raised in Berlin, mobit found his passion for electronic music and the scene in clubs like Sisyphos, Tresor and other places alike. The idea of playing music himself came one night in a bar somewhere in Thailand, as he watched two backpackers entering the bar and asking the barman: "Hi there, can we play music here tonight?". The barkeeper shrugged his shoulders and answered "yeah, why not". They set up a small controller plus laptop and started to play. A few days later mobit's own controller was on the way from Berlin to Bangkok. Inspired and highly motivated he travelled through South East Asia and took every opportunity to play in any Bar, Beach Parties and Festivals that crossed his way. 

Back in Berlin he decided to ran own events and started promoting parties in smaller clubs. In 2019 he cofounded the event and record label Katzenjammer Rec. Berlin, played there as resident DJ in many venues in and around Berlin and released his first productions. 

After travelling again in 2020 and playing in several clubs in Australia, Cambodia and Thailand. He became part of OXA Beach Koh Phangan, a well known night club on the famous Thai island. In October 2021 mobit. finally moved to Koh Phangan to become OXA Beach's new resident DJ, ready to bring some Berlin vibes to the island.
