Imagine a sunny day on a boat, floating through Berlin waters. What music would you like to listen to or share with everyone on board?

With this question in mind, we reached out to our friends and everyone came back to us with another musical interpretation. The result are the tinyboat sessions - a collection of mixtapes as diverse as our community. Anything that brings joy or lets our thoughts wander is welcome.

It has always been an honor and one of my highlights each year to play at Underworld at Kiez Burn. Here's my one-and-a-half hours of the journey through Friday night. It was an absolute blast. This year I especially enjoyed pretending to be a classical conductor for a few moments. Thank you once again to the whole Kiez Burn community for co-creating this beautiful gathering and a special thanks goes out to the Underworld crew for providing such a playful space to get lost in the music. Music is my therapy.
I truly believe movement is key to release what has been stored in our body, connect with ourself and escape duality.

I could get myself lost in substances or behaviours abuse...or jump on the decks and be the tool for the universe.

I do both, but I'm very grateful when I do the latter.

Hailing from the Middle East, Alaila is an avid explorer of rhythmic beats and percussions, drawing inspiration from an unforgettable summer spent in Puebla city. His mixtape serves as a heartfelt ode to Cumbia and the vibrant tapestry of Latin rhythms.
