Simon (better known online as Nomis) is a young artist from Belgium.
His first success was on The Vibe Guide Official's YouTube channel with a remix of The Chainsmokers's hit "Roses" accompanied by a self-made lyric video, which obtained 1 million views. 
A couple of months later he released his first original "Over You" featuring the Lithuanian singer/songwriter Beatrich. 
Later in 2016, he got asked to remix Axwell and Shapov's "Belong". Next to names as Aguelando and D.O.D and appearing on labels as Ultra and Axtone, the Nomis remix received almost 1 million streams on Spotify.
The following year he continued to release tracks, slowly working on his own personal style and developing himself as an artist.
He mainly focussed on making remixes and covers, racking up over 1 million plays on Spotify and half a million on Soundcloud.
In 2018 and 2019, he spent the majority of his music-related time working on a new collection of tracks which would later be combined into the so-called EP "Remember".
This EP really defines Nomis' new style, introducing self-recorded vocals and instruments, creating a lofi/chill vibe.

LEO ISLO is the moniker of Portland-based producer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Matt Pahler.

Born in Santiago, Chile and raised in the small mountain city of Flagstaff, Arizona, LEO ISLO amassed an eclectic mix of art from the world around him, instilling a sense of wanderlust at a young age. By 17 and armed with a fake ID, he began touring as a drummer playing at a variety of venues across Arizona from local bars and clubs to casinos and popular lounges. It wasn’t long before his desire and self-motivation lead him to songwriting and learning guitar.

It was during a move from Los Angeles to Portland that LEO ISLO found himself drawn to the world of electronic music for the first time. Artists like Jai Paul, Neon Indian, Toro Y Moi, Caribou, Washed Out, and Grimes became early influences on his approach to production, fueling his propensity to create tracks with retro-soaked synths, ethereal pop vocals, warm guitar lines, and analog driven beats. 

His first EP as LEO ISLO, Modern Fiction (2014), was conceptualized on a beach in Nicaragua and realized in his chilly garage studio through unrelenting DIY love, trial and error, and many sleepless nights, and garnered him a placement with MTV and the nod of approval from the indie music community.

2015 was a breakout year for LEO ISLO and saw a transition away from chillwave towards uptempo house-driven beats through a series of single releases. As music blogs took notice a small but devoted fanbase started to appear, leading to further internet accolades. ‘Oh Dystopia’ garnered placement on the Spotify Viral Charts (#13 USA / #12 Canada) while ‘Higher Living’ and ‘Coexist’ went on to place well on the Hype Machine Charts (#10 & #6 respectively).

In 2016, LEO ISLO continues to build on his unique brand of danceable and thought provoking electronic music with his latest release ‘Golden Grave.’ The EP focuses on themes of dark introspection, ephemeral mortality, and fleeting nostalgia shifting seamlessly between lo-fi pop, house, and indie rock. His sound continues to evolve as it incorporates aspects of each of these styles while progressing the realm of possibility within them. Relentless in his approach to creating the music he loves, LEO ISLO is patiently building the foundations of a promising career, note by note.

Working with WhoMadeWho was something I wanted to do for quite a while, their self-titled album on Gomma is one of my favorites! ‘Desires' came together very naturally, my instrumental production was already in a similar musical world so when I showed them one of the early versions they quickly agreed to provide the vocals for the track. "Feel Again" is the perfect campfire song.
Easy going, layered, vocals combined with a simple guitar line make for an Indie track with dreamy vibes.
Feel Again iss the first track where I recorded both vocals (lyrics and humming) and guitar riffs (melodies, chords, power chords) myself.
This track felt like a very big step for me to build myself as an artist.
The guitar riff is a bit inspired by the one in "Come Out And Play" by the amazing Billie Eilish.
After making recording this riff, I tried several kind of beats but felt like a slow house beat accented the guitar the best.
I added some campfire and crickets sounds in the intro, some more percussion in the chorus part and starting recording the vocal.
It was my first time recording plain vocals like this and I had to them over and over again until they sounded perfect in my opinion.
The vocals have 3 layers and are a bit inspired by the layered vocals Bon Iver uses in most of his tracks.
After touching up the track a little bit more I felt like the track was ready to join in with the rest of the tracks of the album "Remember?".
