Another month comes to an end in elrow Music and we proudly bring you yet another big-time hitter for closing October and just before Halloween festivities. We are glad to announce this ERM116 comes in the hands of a debuting duo of superstars: 20/20 Vision’s boss, Ralph Lawson, with the genius artist Rui-Z. They deliver this four-tracker that goes by the name of ‘Acid Love EP’, with two originals, one Remix by Denney and a dub version of the main title. Opening the EP, we have ‘Acid Love (Original Mix)’, an eight-minute acid-synth extravaganza that will twist bodies and brains alike, thanks to its soft percussion, acid lines and sexy vocals. The vibe continues in ‘Jack You (Original Mix)’, with the same kind of percussion, almost without melodies, the track is driven by an amazing synth line and a playful vocal progression that invites you to move the body. We then have Denney’s remix of the previous track, ‘Jack You’, a complete different take from the original, with a more tech-housy vibe and filled with those carnivalesque elements that fit so well with elrow’s Music vibe. Finally, closing the EP we have ‘Acid Love (Dub Mix)’, in which Ralph Lawson & Rui-Z rework their own track, giving it a dubbier and voiceless treatment, for those DJs who want a stripped-down track to blow up dancefloors. All in all, this is a masterpiece by own right, by the master Ralph Lawson and his battle stalwart, Rui-Z, curated with love for elrow Music. Catch us in our next dates!

The 9th Cacao release sees the labelheads curate an energy driven pack of tracks with a highly pulsating and rhythmical appeal by a slew of fine artists. While we're constantly flooded by daily rapid-fire releases, there are some timeless gems that always ignite the dancefloors. The following tracks come from influential artists that have left their mark on the Cacao team's sound world, blending perfectly into their sets.
The first pick is a techier take on house veterans' Kerri Chandler and Jerome Sydenham's 'Mama'. This isn't the first time London based duo Voyeur slice up their bits, with their debut EP having also boasted a Kerri Chandler remix. A lofty stomper, with a spacious clanging bassline and an enrapturing vocals, the 'Mama' remix kicks off the release in style.
Channeling the golden Chicago house vibes of the late 80s, we have Dan Berkson & James 'What's Keep On' featuring the legendary Robert Owens, in their live mix rendition.
Next up we have Phonique taking on Sum Over Histories label heads Frankey & Sandrino' house hit 'Wandering'. Although the track has been respun by a plethora of artists, this particular variant reveals soft contours strutting off the bassline and silky textures adjoining an upbeat melody.
Ovum, Cocoon & Kompakt alumni Chymera sets off his melodic flair in 'Under The Slip', a permeating tech journey filled with undulating synths and zippy effects.

Cuebrick - Smoke & Fire (Jochen Miller Remix)

What Came First is a label presented by the team behind leading UK venue Egg London, and celebrating its twelfth release, this is a special birthday EP from Techno legend The Advent with a remix from Egbert.

Opening with “Valiant Keys” its vocal phrase loops short sections to build tension until it opens up with tender bursts of clarity. Layered over a pounding kick drum with rattling synths and eruptions of white noise, the rolling groove of this hands in the air slice of Techno is perfect for the dancefloor.

Track two “Exchange” starts with the flicker of mechanical hi-hats and stabbing synths that blended with the twisted melody, fuse to form a groove that’s packed with forward momentum. Growing with intensity as the track develops, each bass drop is bigger than the one before, as it swells with thrilling suspense.

The third track on the release is Egbert’s remix of “Valiant Keys” which is fast and furious, lead forward by a thumping kick drum. Allowing the original's vocal to be the main focus, Egbert adds his own sinister lead synth and uplifting pads that combine to make an eerie atmosphere full of gripping anticipation.
