Hailing from Madrid, Rafa Santos has been part of the music industry since 1997, spreading House and Electronic music in all forms.
Influenced by Jazz, Soul and R&B sounds, vinyl lover and selector, his musical style is drawn with strokes from Chicago and Detroit, full of hypnotic chords and grooves.
CEO and A&R of MATE, a vinyl House and Deep-house music label focused on classic and underground vibes. Currently the most active and vital national ambassador of house music outside our borders. It holds artists such as Byron The Aquarius  Javonntte, Vick Lavender, Garrett David, Tilman, Reggie Dokes, Gari Romalis, Shaka, and Nico Lahs...

For our fifth one in the repress podcasts series we present you Some Out Of None! This Amsterdam based brother curated over one hour full of smooth and funky deep house. His mix contains the more creative and uplifting deep house with tunes from the past 30 years, combining classic tunes with modern sounds and new releases with an oldschool sound.

Big chance you might have seen his name around with some big releases in the last two years, on labels like Closer to the Truth, Purism, Plastik People, Mole Music and Gent’s & Dandy’s records. No doubt this promising producer will make big waves in the future!

A brief story about Some Out Of None as an artist, also goes by the name of ''Yoeri''. Musically raised by the art of bboying better known as breakin/breakdance. Besides loving the process of creating he also collects vinyl and practices the art of dj-ing daily. Since early days he felt passionate about music and how it connects people. Around his teens, he got his first turntables and mixer and started recording mixes through tape decks. Shortly after that he built his own DJ booth with a friend. From there he started collecting music and building a music library for his own listening pleasure.

In the years after he started with bboying'/breakdance and found out about this whole movement and culture. He delved further into currents and influences and got to know a different kind of music. As a dancer he went into organizing dance events and making music. At these activities and meeting many new people, he discovered House music in its purest form. Fascinated by the Chicago and Detroit sounds he got inspired by four to the floor music.

In terms of a musical spectrum he actually moves in all sorts of directions. What is important to Yoeri is that it generates energy, emotion and pureness at all times. In Yoeri's opinion music should uplift you. You might recognize this energy in his music.

Chegando à Ibiza no final dos anos 90 com sua família nômade franco-brasileira, Camilo cresceu ouvindo batidas de todos os países e gêneros de seus pais enquanto eles o deixavam invadir festas ocasionais. O estilo de DJing “gênero e não gênero” de Camilo permite que ele escape de ser rotulado e se destaque criando paisagens sonoras variadas e ecléticas. Suas produções seguem uma linha semelhante com lançamentos aclamados pela Lips & Rhythm, Is It Balearic, Music for Dreams e seu próprio selo Homies Cuts. Iniciada em Barcelona em 2015, Homies é a série de festas hedonísticas de Camilo organizadas com o colega DJ/Produtor Christian Len. Em Ibiza, esta festa se instalou no Pikes, um espaço muito querido e venerado que com a sua história de decadência, é singularidade e múltiplas salas e recantos interiores/exteriores, adapta-se perfeitamente ao conceito da festa. Como residente de longa data, Camilo orgulhosamente chama Ibiza e Pikes de sua casa enquanto ele e Christian voam entre a ilha e o continente para suas vagas de convidados e tarefas de apresentador e DJ de Homies.
