only a few weeks ago we were very proud of the result from the further CONTACT liveset. allover a full range techno liveset with self created sounds and arrangements - and we didnt stop working on it and we want to share the upgrade of CONTACT -  the liveset became more samples, we added a lot of additional percussion elements to be sure that every sound played just one time. we overworked the setting of the channel effects and we named all created clips with senseful descriptions. it stayed raw and dirty but i wanted to change the main synth because of the old one was using system ressources without effort and then we found something maybe better. the one shot vocals became the most volume fixing work but there were many sounds that i changed because the sound was to similar to another sound. the channel effects got updated and the parameter manipulations were on nearly every given knob or fader. also the buttons became a overworked routine because i found a way where i think its more sorted and the overview makes sense. what you cant see is the colorful liveset in ableton while the process. just a small change and the whole liveset was clearer. now its complete structured and sorted what was our big hope. its near to the point where we say a better workflow isn´t possible... in this state of the work it became a detailed (experimental) minimal techno liveset with a high grade on groove and atmosphere. with supporting short vocal elements and more familiar sounds. we are proud of it because its the best work so far.
