Ambient Lab's Cloud

Maxim Dunaev (Doozer) is an experienced DJ and connoisseur of the history of electronic music. He started playing music in 1999 under the influence of goa-trance. Over time, he expanded his repertoire to various forms of chillout. He is currently a resident of the St. Petersburg chill-out community Dreamfatum. A book lover and philosopher, known for his lectures on topical social topics, Maxim is a welcome guest at any venues of psychedelic festivals in Russia, who knows how to adapt his sets to any party format.

Being stuck in isolation for so long made it easy for my mind to wander down a dark path, looking at things with a bitter perspective, and wishing for things that weren't there. Most of the titles on the release were relevant to how I was feeling or what I was going through as I wrote the tunes. Completing this release has really helped me overcome the feeling of general sadness and wishful thinking I was experiencing and start to change my outlook in a more positive light. ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Keerd is fascinated by how music influences the environment around us - how it sets the scene and tells a story that reflects the writer's emotions or experiences in unique ways. With the California native’s background in sound design, he has been perfecting his craft in electronic music for the past decade. This multi-genre producer strives to tell stories through his music and mixes, taking the listener on a kinetic yet spacious journey with his original sounds and movements. He is a founding member of Inquiry Collective and assists in managing their record label, Inquiry Records.

ABOUT OVER THE MOON:

Over The Moon is the new sister imprint of Behind The Sky Music, a record label created by established electronic producer Bluetech which is committed to releasing high quality limited edition vinyl presses of analog and modular synth music.  Formed during the pandemic lockdown, Over The Moon is a collaboration between label partners and longtime friends Evan Bartholomew (Bluetech) and Maggie Houtz (DJ Maggie). The two work closely on co-producing the weekly Twitch audiovisual show Holotropic Happy Hour as well as the various artists Matters of the Heart compilation in summer of 2021 for Behind the Sky. Maggie’s love for - and encyclopedic knowledge of - downtempo electronica is the guiding force in curating a catalog of gorgeous and emotional electronic music.   Over The Moon was born out of an inspiration to showcase more explicitly electronic, beat-driven music that sits just outside the parameters of the Berlin school ambient and analog synth-oriented releases of Behind The Sky.

Raul Jordan is the artist behind the Lab’s Cloud project. Born in 1978 in Valencia (Spain).
Raúl began producing Psychedelic Trance as PSYCHO ABSTRACT with many compilations and
three albums in well-known labels. And after some years, in
2004, Raul starts a new project focused in Ambient & Down Tempo music under the project's
name: LAB'S CLOUD.
His style in words of the listeners is: a smooth organic ride, sweet, deep, riding, floating,
beautiful and delicious music oriented to chill outs, with space atmospheres, some chilling
vocals, some ethnic sounds, ethereal flutes and acoustic recordings (percussion, guitars..etc)
that make a sublime fusion that culminates into an aural experience. A definite trip for the soul!
The first single "Esmeralda" appears in 2005 in the compilation Chillum 4 (Agitato Records)
motivating great interest in many international labels. (All releases bellow).
The live performances is a very important item for Lab’s Cloud, for that reason, Raul makes
real live, improvising with synths and adapting the sounds according to the answer of the
audience. 
Since several years, Raúl is working as R+D engineer, developing professional audio
processors (EQ, Compressors-Limiters, crossover...) for Lynx Pro Audio. Actually with his
experience as sound engineer is offering his mixing and mastering services (Abstract
Studios), who demand it.
